Engagement: Kaena Point in Oahu, Hawaii

Their Kaena Point engagement photos took place in late December. After seeing them and doing a hike at Koko Crater Trail earlier in the day, we caught sunset at Kaena Point State Park on the northwest portion of the island.

It’s crazy to think I photographed this back in the end of 2017.

It was a sudden, last minute trip before the New Years and I made my way from New York to Hawaii. Literally went from 20 degree weather to upper 70 degree weather.

We had the chance to photograph at a few places, but I really wanted to highlight the session at Ka’ena Point since I felt like these really captured something different – some raw emotion – and some beautiful island like landscapes.

I had scouted Ka’ena Point briefly on Google Maps before the trip and made the recommendation – the scenery did not disappoint.

I’ll be back again for sure~
